Instructors, do you need a persistent link to a library resource to embed in Canvas, Powerpoint, or another course tool?

First you will need to locate the resource you would like to include or embed in your course. You will then follow the steps in How can I share a link to ensure the receiver can access the resource through Milner Library with their ULID login? to obtain the proper link to your resource to ensure the receiver can access the resource through Milner Library with their ULID login.

To embed the link into your Canvas course, copy the correctly formatted link. In Canvas, paste the link as an ‘External URL’ in the Modules section of your course in Canvas. Paste the URL from the library resource into the URL box, then add a page name to the page name box and select ‘Add Item’ at the bottom of the pop-up box to save the link.
