EBook Cental launched a new app to replace Adobe Digital Editions to download full books to view offline at any time. This app is not required unless users want view full ebooks offline. All books and individual book chapters can continue to be viewed on the online eBook Central platform. Users can download the app on up to six devices. Please follow the directions below to download the app on your personal device.
1. When logged into eBook Central, you will select your profile at the top right corner of the screen, indicated by the person shaped symbol. In your profile details, in the ‘EBC App Devices’ section, select ‘Manage | Get Code’
2. Select to 'Download the App'
3. Next, follow the instruction to download the app onto your preferred platform.
4. Once downloaded, the following screen will appear. To retrieve your login code, you will go back to the screen in step 2, and on the left side of the screen, select ‘Get Login Code’
5. Copy and paste your login code. This will complete the download process, and you should be able to view titles in the new app. For questions, please contact liberesourceshelp@ilstu.edu.
