nkoda is a digital sheet music subscription library. You need to install the nkoda app in order to use this resource. How you install and connect your nkoda app to ISU’s subscription depends on what kind of mobile device you use.
If you have any questions about installing nkoda or connecting your app to Illinois State University’s subscription, please email liberesources@ilstu.edu.
Android
- Install the nkoda app on your personal device(s).
- Open the app.
- Sign up using Institution.
- Enter Illinois State University in the institution search box and select Illinois State University (if you see two options, choose the option with the branding/logo).
- On the Illinois State University electronic resources sign in page, login in with your ISU email and password.
- For first time users, create your nkoda account by entering your ISU email address and name. Choose Continue.
- You will be prompted to “Continue as a member of Illinois State University.” Select yes.
- Check for a green banner at the top of the screen. It should say “You are signed in as a member of Illinois State University.”
Apple
- Install the nkoda app on your personal device.
- Open the app.
- Go to My Library in the top left and choose Sign Up under Get Started.
- On the new page, choose Sign up with an Institution.
- Enter Illinois State University in the institution search box and select Illinois State University (if you see two options, choose the option with the branding/logo).
- On the Illinois State University electronic resources sign in page, login in with your ISU email and password.
- For first time users, create your nkoda account by entering your ISU email address and name. Choose Continue.
- It will then ask if you want to “Open this page in nkoda?” Choose yes.
- In the app, it will ask you to “Continue as a member of Illinois State University.” Select yes.
- Check for a green banner at the top of the screen. It should say “You are signed in as a member of Illinois State University.”
Microsoft
- Install the nkoda app on your personal device(s)
- Open the app.
- Sign up using Institution
