Q. How do I log in to access an online library resource?

ISU Students, Faculty, Staff and Retirees

If you are a student, faculty, staff, or retiree of ISU, log in using the top box that says Milner Library at Illinois State University Sign in at Illinois State University. If you are a visiting scholar, you may sign in using your ISU email and password using the top box that says Milner Library at Illinois State University Sign in at Illinois State University.

Alumni and Guest Users

If you are an alumnus accessing the Business Source Alumni Edition database or a guest user (includes high school students and community members visiting the library) accessing any library database, sign in using the bottom box that says Login with your Guest account.

The ISU OpenAthens Alumni Account only works to access the database Business Source Alumni Edition.

Alumni do not have access to Milner Library's suite of databases on the Databases A-Z list, or electronic resources in the Milner Catalog that require a login to access, via the Alumni Account.

If you want to access databases on the Databases A-Z list or electronic resources in the Milner Catalog that require a login to access, please visit Milner Library and ask for a guest login at our Service Desk on the right as you enter. You can use this login at one of the three guest computers for up to two hours a day.

Troubleshooting

If you have any problems signing in, first try clearing your cache and cookies, and signing in again. For a refresher on how to clear your cache and cookies, see the clear cache instructions for Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
