Milner Library's catalog does not have a way for you to place holds on items that are checked out. If you are a current Illinois State University student, faculty, or staff, you can try checking the I-Share catalog (requests take around 3-5 days to come to Milner for pickup) to see if libraries that we share items with across Illinois have the item and request it. If they don't have it you can try interlibrary loan (requests take around 10-14 days to come to Milner for pickup). You can check the local public libraries (Normal Public Library and Bloomington Public Library) to see if they have the item you need.

NOTE: If you are not an Illinois State University student, faculty, or staff, you will not be able to use I-Share and interlibrary loan at Milner Library. You can use interlibrary loan at your nearest public library.
