If you are having difficulty logging onto a Library laptop, try these two steps:
- One cause of login trouble is that the laptops you can check out from the Library show the login screen and let you try to login before the computer is actually ready to login. If your laptop has a white flickering light, wait a few minutes until the white flickering light on the laptop flashes much more slowly, then try to log in again.
- If that doesn't work, make sure you are entering your ULID (the part before @ilstu.edu in your ISU email address) and password correctly.
If you are still unable to login to the laptop after trying these steps, please:
- Return the laptop.
- Let the Circulation Desk know that it isn't allowing you to login.
- Check out a different laptop.
