There are two ways that ISU students, faculty, and staff can save their work at Milner Library without a flash drive:

OneDrive

In Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) (library and personal computers)

A new Word document in Microsoft 365 AutoSaves with the title "Document.” To rename it:

  1. Choose the title of the document.
  2. Enter a new title.
  3. Select an area outside the title to save changes.

Your document will now be saved with the new title in Office365 in My Files. Office 365 will AutoSave your document with the new title every time you modify it.

In Microsoft Word on Student Computers (library computers only)

  1. Double choose the File tab.
  2. Select Save As.
  3. Choose OneDrive - ILState University in the menu on the left.
  4. Your OneDrive folders and files will appear on the right. Enter a name for your document in the box at the top. If you want to save your document to a folder in OneDrive, select a folder.
  5. Choose Save.
