ISU students, faculty, and staff, alumni and community members, and Eduroam campus visitors can use Wi-Fi at the library. Your Wi-Fi menu will show four options in the library: isunet, isunet-StartHere, isunet-public, and Eduroam.   See the IT Help Overview of Internet Access at Illinois State University for details about the Wi-Fi options you may see on your mobile devices at ISU.

ISU Students, Faculty, and Staff:

  • Choose isunet and login with your ULID (your mobile device may call this identity) and password.
  • When you use the Wi-Fi at the library for the first time, choose isunet-StartHere to prepare your device to use the isunet Wi-Fi.
    • If it asks for a domain, try ilstu.edu, ad.ilstu or ad.ilstu.edu
  • If none of the domains work, or for any questions about connecting to Wi-Fi, contact the ISU Technology Support Center for help:

Alumni and Community Members:

Choose isu-public, which is a Wi-Fi only found at the library. It should not require any setup or a login.

Eduroam Visitors:

If you are a student, faculty, or staff at any of the 600+ campuses that are part of Eduroam, you can use your campus’ login to sign in to Eduroam Wi-Fi while you are at Illinois State University.
