Electronic course reserves should open directly in your browser window. First, check to make sure that you have Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader, and that your browser is using one of these to open all Course Reserve items.
If an item does not open properly, try saving the file to your computer and then opening the file by following these steps:
- Click the Click here for e-Reserve item link while hitting the Control (CTRL) button.
- A pop-up box will appear. Choose the “Save Link as” option (the wording for this option may vary depending on your browser).
- The “Save as” pop-up will appear and provide a default file name of fileview.php. You can change the file extension from .php to .pdf, or choose a different name for your file, making sure that your file extension is .pdf. On some computers, you might also get a “Save as” dropdown menu within the window. If this is the case, make sure to choose “All Files”.
- Open the saved file from your computer.
