Yes, you can print from your laptop if you are affiliated with ISU.
- Download the UPrint Pharos software for Windows or Mac computers from the ISU Technology Support Center and click the link beneath the download for further instructions.
- NOTE: If you have installed uPrint Pharos software on your laptop in the past, you will now need to install the new software before you can successfully print with uPrint on your laptop.
- After you download and install the UPrintPharos software, you should be able to send a print job from your laptop to any print station in the library (look for ISU Mobile Printing, ISU uPrint, or a similar option in your print menu).
- MAC USERS: After you install uPrint, you may see an icon of a window with an exclamation point appear in your dock icon bar asking you to install a printing software update the first time that you try to print. If so, download the update, then close the print job and try sending it again.
NOTE: uPrint now allows you to print in black and white [Windows = uPrint (Grayscale only), Mac = uPrint_Printer_Black] and color [Windows = uPrint (Color), Mac = uPrint_Printer_Color] from your laptop!
Black and white single sided print jobs can be released from any printer on Floors 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. Color and double sided print jobs can be released from the print stations on Floor 2 behind the Reference Desk on the right as you enter, and in the Computer Lab.
