Illinois State University students, faculty, and staff can check out books from the UHigh Library with their Redbird Cards.
Unfortunately, Illinois State University students, faculty and staff are typically unable to check out books from Metacalf Library. However, you can go to Metcalf Library to look at their books. You can also contact Metcalf Library to ask for special permission to borrow their books. Your other options to obtain the book you need include:
- Search for your book in I-Share and request the book if it is available
- Request an interlibrary loan for your book from ILLiad if I-Share doesn’t have your book.
- Search the Normal Public Library and Bloomington Public Library websites for your book. If they have the book, you can check it out from them.
