A list of the papers in the Civil War Newspaper collection is included in the HIS 300 guide for Dr. Gifford's class. (This guide is also useful to students in Dr. Winger's HIS 300.)  Hover over the Primary Sources tab to locate the links for "Civil War Newspapers A - M" and "Civil War Newspapers N - Z".  The library also has a printed listing of the newspapers in the guide located on the Floor 2 Reference Microform Index Area at the call number E 461 .C55.  The list gives the name of the newspaper, the state where published, the dates covered, and the reel number.

The individual titles of the newspapers can be searched in the Milner Catalog.  Microfilm is in basement storage and can be requested through the Milner Catalog.
