If you are using the Milner Library chat service either from the Milner Library Frequently Asked Questions pages or a library database, your chat may automatically disconnect without warning if you use the tab containing your chat box to navigate to a different page. 

To avoid chat disconnection, pop the chat window out of the page by clicking the blue icon depicting a box with an arrow pointing out of it.  You should then be able to navigate away from or close the page where you started the chat without your chat disconnecting.
