The library copier only prints in black and white, but you can still use it to make black and white two-sided copies of pamphlets.

To copy a two-sided brochure

  1. Swipe your RedBird Card at the copier to start copying.
    • Copies are $0.08 per side of a page black and white.
    • The card swipe will show up to 50 copies, even if you have more money than that on your card.
  2.  On the copier touch screen, tap 2-sided copy, then tap 1 -> 2.

  3. Open the top of the copier and put your brochure in so that it is aligned horizontally with the left corner placed where the arrow is on the copier in the upper left, with one side against the glass and the other side facing you right-side-up.

  4. Tap Copies in Easy Copy mode or use the keypad on the touch screen in Normal mode to choose the number of copies you want. The default is 1 copy.

  5. Tap the green Start button.

  6. A popup will appear that says “Place next original. Press [Start]. When finished, press [Read-End]. Flip the brochure over from left to right so that the other side of the brochure is facing the glass and the side you already scanned is facing you right-side-up, aligned horizontally with the top left corner against the arrow in the upper left corner of the copier and tap Start again.

  7. When you are done with the second item, tap Read End on the popup to receive your copies.

The copies will come out in the space just underneath the top of the copier on the left.
